Morning all, hoping to get the first revision for concurrency into the develop branch, then planning to work on our in-house crud builder.

Like always, this will have zero command line configuration, and should dump all the controller and model and view logic into the backend with automagic permission control setup, for any custom tables you wish to build. Eventually, there will be a relationship helper (drag and drop connecting nodes between tables) and choosing join types. So no need for those tedious ORM's we're used to using.

Once again thanks for watching

Morning all, hoping to finish some of the crud builder functionality today, so that I can show you all a demo, so far it is coming on great.

Don't forget to check out the website in my signature below, if you're looking to simplify the way you work. (Note install unavailable at time of writing)

What makes us different?
- We have a one click install,
- We use OOP sparingly, favouring an overall rejection of common design patterns.
- We have an inbuilt first class, content management builder, which will eventually support a restful interface to consume this data however you like
- Drag and drop scaffolding builders for CRUD - no command line knowledge needed
- Payment support and auth modules out of the box, and so much more.

And we're giving this away for free!

Morning all, bit of more than I could chew with the crud builder yesterday and only managed to complete the controller build section. Hopefully will dedicate the rest of today to complete generating the model and then the views (the view logic will be the most difficult to complete)

Thanks for watching.

Morning all final touches to the crud builder to be completed today.

We finally pushed unit testing into our develop branch, which will occur in system and have a zero command line setup.

Also, along with our patented one-click install we will eventually have a one-click updater. So hoping to use something similar to the below, which will work like:

well, basically you'll have to store the user system's version in some config file or database and have a server where you keep the latest version of your scripts. Then when the user request to check for updates (or each time that the software runs) your update script should hit the server and get the latest version number, compare it with the one your user has stored and if the user one is inferior the script should download the new scripts from the server (usually to a temp directory). Now all that the update script has to do is remove the old scripts and move the new ones to the directories where they belong. Finally the update script should update the version in the config file/database.

Morning all, great progress made yesterday with the crud builder.

To do:
-Allow for vanilla HTML view generation for easy custom styling
-Allow for add user session to model (checkbox)
-Work on date and rich text components with crud
-Think about dropdowns / checkbox handling with crud, normally these are linked to another table and pulling from there rather than hardcoded

Hopefully get time to show some screen grabs of it in action later today.

Thanks for watching!

Morning all,

Still a lot to do with our automated crud / view and controller builders, but making steady progress.

For now I'd like to introduce 'Full Calendar' which will eventually ship with ignitedcms — allowed you to quickly build quick and simple to use calendar booking appointments in your backend, adding any custom fields and full permission control which is simple and quick to setup.

Evening all, small bits of progress:

-Got chunked uploads working (need to address issue with CSRF token though and proper mime type validation
-Got a working prototype of the Crud builder working, still need a vanilla html builder option and add session for auth
-Added few more tweaks to my utility libs

A generalised 'Date' lib is in the works

Afternoon all, a sneak peak at our 'CRUD Builder'. (still rough around the edges)

It creates the boiler plate, for the controllers, models and views (where you have an option to create a vanilla unstyled view if required with all the validation logic baked in.

In time will support 'linked tables' via a intuitive GUI builder (although this will be some while away on the roadmap)
