Perhaps old news but is anyone using tabnine with vscode?

tabnine is a good auto complete plugin/extension.
Kite is also another good one, although I prefer tabnine.

Yes I was somewhat sceptical of having a ML plugin chugging in the background as normally I use VS code snippets, but I was pleasantly surprised how exceptional the autocompletion is, and it works great for writing plain text notes too.

My perfect workflow now when used in conjunction with the 'VIM' extension too.

So I believe copilot is better in that you can write a comment such as 'create function to find random number between 1 and 10' keep pressing tab and off it goes.

Thing is, this type of aggressive AI is not something I'm too keen on, perhaps as it improves it will get better. It probably doesn't have great support for frameworks either when using comments like this, although I would imagine this to change.

For javascript it appears to work fine.

Tabnine is lightweight and less aggressive, and is free for single use and learns as you go, we also don't know what copilot's final pricing paywall will be either.
