Hi guys,
Im totally new to MVC and CodeIgniter.For the past 1 month i managed to develop a system for tender tracking using Cakephp.So far its quite ok and i understand how MVC works.Yesterday a friend of mine suggest me to try using CodeIgniter.Is it ok to port my system to CodeIgniter.I can't find a feature in Cakephp such as model association to join database tables.If anyone could help im happy to post all of my code from Cakephp and the database model.

It seems i need to recode back from scratch because in CI they don't have automated script like bake in Cake to scaffold all of the models,controllers and views from database
