SimplePie with Multiple RSS Feeds?

Is anyone here using SimplePie to read multiple RSS feeds? I haven't yet figured out how to get around the SimplePie/PHP5 memory leak anomaly. There's a fix posted on the SimplePie site, but I haven't gotten it working yet in CI.
