php manual is less useful ?

- I am new in Code Igniter but already coding in php for several times. Moving from "ordinary PHP" to Framework (CI), make our PHP manual like http://www.php.net/docs.php is less useful . Is it right ?.

People have converted the CI doc to CHM and PDF in the past if thats what your looking for.
