Is CodeIgniter compatible with Nginx webserver (infinite redirect loop)?

Hi,
we are about to switch to a more powerful hosting environment which runs on Nginx web server. I havent used nginx before but i got no other choice.

Basically my problem is with codeigniter doing an infinite redirect loop when i visit my page. even for simple page that doesnt use the redirect() , it still does the same thing.

Please, can somebody help me with this?

I don't really know Nginx, so it's just guessing:

Are you using the ngx_http_rewrite_module?
Maybe that one is misconfigured?

thanks for the reply. The hosting admins took care of it and its a breeze.! Its ok now after finding a thread here in the forums.
