which wysiwyg is best for CI

I used both TinyMCE and Xinha (http://trac.xinha.org/). It really all depends on your own personal preferences.
As far as I can tell, most free editors are relatively easy to install/use

Personally like the WYMEditor http://www.wymeditor.org/ make people realise what there putting in

While FCK and tinyMCE always seem like the preferred choice, I personally don't favor them. I have not looked into them recently but when I did I found both to be bloated and did not like the html they output.

I like to use the widgEditor. It's a very light weight editor which only includes very basic text editing and image support. The html it outputs is valid html. Check i out here: http://code.google.com/p/widgeditor/
