How much do you know about Ajax? There are a lot of great resources for explaining exactly what it is. There are plenty of threads on this very board about how to integrate various Ajax solutions into CodeIgniter. I wrote a long tutorial where I integrated YUI into CodeIgniter to produce an Ajax comment form.

Integrate a robust js framework to your CI. For me, I use jQuery it rocks, got tons of ajax functionalities.
