New to CodeIgniter - Help

Hi
Can someone give me instructions of how to install CI with MAMP server

My Basic Problems\
- Where should i download the package to?
- Should i install it in the htdocs folder?
- How do i start my website creation?

I have use the user guide but still need more instructions

1. Hm, follow instruction on how to install MAMP, add a site, test it.

2. Then download CI and extract it into your home directory (www / htdocs etc). Then follow instructions on how to start coding with CI -- http://codeigniter.com/tutorials/
