Is CodeExtinguisher 2 rc14.2 stable?

I'm interested in trying CodeExtinguisher in a project and don't know if I should go with the latest stable release (1.4, available on the website) or jump right into using v2 rc14.2 (discussed in this thread: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/79842/ )

Any advice?
