how to set the base_url

in website i want to send to mail from one account to another account.but iam using ezatuh application once registered user only password sent to their mail account.
base_url="www.webladdu.com" i have already a filezela server.i copied the all files in filezila. but i run the project www.webladdu.com/ezauth/index.php it displays 404 page not found
ezauth is a folder for all classes in codeginter and ezauth files,

iam using Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.webladdu.com Port 80
i place the files to filezila web server
i modified config and database file according to our need
it displays 404 page not found
base_url=www.webladdu.com/ezauth/" it is not working how to modify the .htaccess file.i did n't any changes in .htaccess file
