I don't know the language, but I guess it is because your news table doesn't contains fields from SELECT list.

yes i know this SELECT list is contained to tables "pages" taht i have call in the first
$this->table= “pages”;
but he insist to call SELECT list from table news

Actually, I think you may need to learn some SQL, PHP stuff before continue.
