Please do tell me how to develop a simple registration form

I am using CI for the first it is bit cofusing ,am not able to make a simple registration application where a user registers his username and password ,gets a success messaga and logs in with the username and password and views his data.

Please some one tell me how to write this code so that i can learn how to write code in CI

Thanks for the two links you provided .... i came to know about front end development how ontrollers and views are used .
Still to figure out how to use models and database functions.
