I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a quick solution. You'd probably spend more time trying to make it work than anything else. In the time it takes to do that, I reckon you could probably learn Martin's [url="http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/74114/"]MPTtree library[/url].
