Comparison of Authentication libraries

Hello,

as a newcomer to CI, I would be glad if somebody provides an overview/comparison with pros and cons of the existing authentication systems (or point a link to such one). By the way, if it's not on the way, it could be a good idea to introduce to CI a standard authentication library, given that this is one of the minimal functionalities to implement in any dynamic site.

2a) I see that Redux has been indicated as most secure and slim. No words about Redux 2 (beta at this moment) besides some words of the author in (1). Some tests ?
