Hi.
I was put the whois code in my website, works fine on old hosting and home server, but not works in my new VPS.
In phpinfo seems everything fine

phpinfo

But now Domain search results always display "registered"
I read in their post solution is the servers will not allow access OUT of their server on port 43.
But that's not really helps me, How do I solve this problem? I have firewall off, seems
Code:
fsockopen()
is blocked, how do I can allow outgoing and incoming connections, I can't find any solutions in goggle as well.

I'm sure your firewall may be disabled, but I'll bet that you still have IP Tables in effect. Here's a way to truly disable your IP Tables. Be warned however, you're server will be vulnerable, and if you're not careful, you may shut yourself out of your server. I'd recommend installing a nice front end such as Vuurmuur. In a situation like this, it might be wise to speak to your server admins. They'll usually know what the problem is, and if the host is a good one, they'll do it for free.
