Including a file in a template.

If I wanted to include a file in a template can it be done using syntax such as {include 'navigation.php'} or must I use php commands?

ignore I have just realised what you meant, and it seems a tad unauthodox what you want to do, can you not include the library outside the {} tags.

If anybody was interested I updated the parser library to enable myself to use {include 'sidebar'} which accesses the sidebar.php file and enables it to have data replaced by the parser. If anybody wants the solution/code please feel free to ask.
