Hi all
where should I put favicon? and how to use it?

put it in a images dir that you put directly under the CI install dir.

Like so:

ciinstall/images/favicon
ciinstall/system/etc

Then reference it by doing <?php echo base_url(); ?>images/favicon as you would normally link a favicon.

It's just standard HTML stuff, something Google will tell you

If you don't know where to store images in CI it isn't.

But there's no preset place to store images, they can go where you want, so that point seems irrelevant
