I'm doing something with a dynamic tag table. With the tags, I have the registration page list 3 or 4 standard fields, and the rest are all generated dynamically.
In order to get these fields, I pulled the results from the database and got the textbox
value by doing that.
So, here is where I'm stuck. I want to know if I can have it insert an array in to the table, and make it create multiple results for more than one row in an array.
This is what an example array would look like:
Code:
Array ( [0] => Array ( [tag] => fname [value] => weta [username] => stuff ) [1] => Array ( [tag] => lname [value] => esta [username] => stuff ) [2] => Array ( [tag] => cbid [value] => est [username] => stuff ) [3] => Array ( [tag] => pdcid [value] => eett [username] => stuff ) [4] => Array ( [tag] => ppid [value] => wtwt [username] => stuff ) )
tag, value, and username are all fields in my table. If I went
Code:
$array;
$this->db->insert('tagvalues', $array);
Would it insert number 0 thru 4 accordingly as new rows in the table or do I have to do more trickery to do it properly?
