Sorry, no its not my server. I created my own php.ini file and placed it in my root folder. Its fixed now for me, but before I made the fix the info file let me know they had not set a default.

I`m guessing they were supposed to.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

When CodeIgniter will support PHP 5.3 or 5.4? Oh and please do not ask me what does not work in PHP 5.2 ... everything works to me, but the fellow developers are laughing at me, I'm using the framework, which does not support PHP 5.3 already dying, and I'm not talking now about 5.4.

PHP 5.2 is less safe, and some day it`ll be not supported on some hostings... This topic is dated on 2009 year, now it`s 2013, and CI still support only PHP 5.2?

Not anytime soon (even though that sentence makes no sense). If CI isn't suitable for you, don't use it. It's that simple.

CI is suitable for me, as I wrote below. But We are living in 2013 not 2009, I thought safety and technology is top priority case for any developers, so I wanted to ask this question.

So if it is not matter which PHP is supported, PHP 5.2, not 5.3 or 5.4, why to not use PHP 3 or PHP 4? ;-)
