Hello all, I just started using codeigniter, i developed http://www.nubilum-guild.com and i have wrapped wordpress and phpbb3 with iframes... which sux... if you'll browse a few time the pages you'll notice the iframe height sizing after rendering.

Question: how can i easily integrate both of them without using iframes?

Thank for any advice

hi mauroxx, why would you need to mix 3 diferent open source technologies in the same site. I mean you can have the root of your site running wordpress and a secound folder example(http://www.nubilum-guild.com/forum) with the forum installed in it.

The only diference would be that you will have to write a bit of extra html.

As well as that you may want to have a look at expressionengine.com from ellislab, i know that they have a forum module, so therefore you will have a blog publisher and a forum in the same system.

Hope this help.

right when you answered me i was looking to ellislab project Big Grin

Althought i wanted to use wordpress for blog and phpbb3 since imho they are the best on each branch and i wanted to integrate them with CI to handle any other access to extra code self developed...

the best tools are the ones that suit your project not the ones that everybody uses.
if you are fan of wordpress you should try to adapt budypress into your wordpress, just goolge for budypress, as it is a user management tool. However i would stick with expression engine because its an high profile package.

Good luck
