Commerical payed application with CodeIgniter

Im a little confused, If I build an application in CodeIgniter can I sell it? or no because CodeIgniter is open source? Please help me, thanks!

I think we both have same issue. But here is how I will do: I will encode my files, anything that's under application, and leave condeigniter open source. I think is fair.

Sounds good! I love Open Source but I wanna make some money off of this app (Im only 15 lol) I would be more then willing to show I used CI but I dont want to give away my secret recipes :] Thanks a lot!

Yes you can sell your application based on CodeIgniter. Just follow the rules.

Fueldbymatt, yes you can sell your code and products but as the licency says you need to mention specifically the origin and not pass it as your own work!
