Searching Local Copy of User Guide

When I am browsing my local CI user guide, sometimes I want to search. The search always connects to CI or to Google. Oftentimes I am riding a bus, a train or a plane without network connectivity. How can I search ONLY my local CI user guide?

The search on the userguide is powered by Google, so it has to connect to the internet
If you *need* to search it, could maybe search the HTML files
