PyroCMS installation problems

Hi

I am new to codeigniter and I am currently trying out different CMSs.
I have come across the PyroCMS and I think it is really nice but i cannot get it installed. When I fill out the database information in the installer i keep getting this message:

The database tables could not be created, please verify your settings.

I know the information is right so I do not know what to do.
Can you help me ?

There are a few issues with the installer which should be ironed out and released as part of v0.9.7.

Can you check to see if the database has actually been created? There was a problem that would cause this error to pop up even when the installation had been run successfully.

If all else fails, look at the INSTALL file in the root and follow its instructions. It should help you manually install by running SQL and a few bash commands. Nothing more complicated than setting up phpBB or some other popular script.
