new website problem

hello guys i'm new here, and i have questions regarding CodeIgniter, i have now a new website and i want to put my CodeIgniter files in that server and when i check the site, I encountered an error 403

This is my first time doing this online so is there any configurations that i need to do first?thanks in advance

Have you tried changing your permissions?

Did you change your application/config/config.php to point to your website?

Did you change your index.php to point to your Codeigniter system and application directories?

thanks so much guys, it is now working, any advice my friend suggested this to me optimize the pages, target keywords/keyphrases niches for the search engines to index it. when your site becomes 100% ready, most likely your site has been indexed, how should i do this?

each search engine has a method to add to there search engine respectfully, to add to google for example follow this link:
