Google sitemaps from CI

Hi all, im in the processing of putting quite a large site online and i wanting a bit of advice as to how you all go about creating google sitemaps from your CI projects. At present all the automated sitemap generators are failing to work, im assuming this is because of the different urls that codeigniter spits out. Previously ive just written all my sitemaps by hand, but ive only ever had fairly small and relatively static projects so it wasnt too much of a problem, but writing them manually for this one could be a bit of a headache i think.

Any advice would be appreciated

Do you use database routing? (I.E. you have a table where you store all your routing rules?). We use that and just spit out the whole table and add it to the sitemap generator.
