[SOLVED] My log file is not logging

I've got my config set to level 4 logging and i haven't changed the path for where logs should be stored but my logging has stopped!

There are three files in there:

log-2007-07-24.php
log-2007-07-25.php
log-2007-07-26.php

of varying sizes and that is it!

I have made it 777 on ye olde permissions just to make sure something fishy hasn't happened and still no logging is taking place.

Why oh why has my logging forsaken me.

Whoops, the ummm folder wasn't ahhh writable.

Could have happened to anyone! Anyone i tells you!

I seem to have notched up another embarrassing forum entry. Not bad going at all....
