Step 1? (100% newb)

OK, I know I have missed something significant but I cannot place what so here is my problem.

I have installed codeigniter as per the instructions and it has all worked.

I have read the getting started section of the user guide (many times) and it make sense

I have watched the first video tutorial and it looks great.

My question is how do I get "into" codeigniter? The video displays a screen with a sidebar men structure where files can be seen and edited... How do I get into this so I can follow the video tutorial?

Oh, that's just their IDE/editor. Getting 'into' CI is as simple as popping open your favorite text editor, going into your application folder and opening whatever file you are interested in - the controllers, models, and views folders are where you spend most of your time.
