how to protect my system ?

Hi friends ! i an doing web development on my PC, all my CI websites and other related stuff is on this PC so i need to protect it from other users like my mates so is there any software that i can use to stop unnecessary downloading, control Drives access etc by my friends? im really in trouble plz help me

Well you can either copy your stuff onto usb disks or you could consider create secure virtual drives with the likes of TrueCrypt and store all your data in them.
