The Authentication Library vs Redux

I've been looking at the various authentication solutions over the past few days and I've narrowed it down to two choices: The Authentication Library and Redux. Does anyone have an opinion on which is better, and reasons why?

Choosing an authentication library depends on your needs.

I haven't used Redux or Authentication before. I've read Authentication Library code before and it is very very very simple to modify and extend.
