want to change path

I have to give the following path for my site...
hhtp://localhost/ci/testing/test/hello

but i want to change it to
http://localhost/testing/test/hello

how can i do that?

Move it out of the /ci/ folder and into the root of your server?

That would work - or you could use .htaccess or get freaky with the routes
