I'm new to codeigniter and freakauth_light, but I like what I see so far. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction and save me some time. I need to allow access to the site by emergency personnel to have full access to a user's account as if they were logged in. I imagine this could be done by setting a couple session variables, but I am getting lost crawling through the code trying to figure out what to set. To be a little more clear here is the general sequence that I am thinking:
1. Emergency person logs in to special area using id number rather than user name and password.
2. freakauth session variable are set to make it look like the user logged in
3. I'd like to set a pretty short-term session in this case so the credentials would expire after say 10 minutes or so
Any advice would be appreciated!
