Propel ORM?

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'd like to wish Merry Xmas to evereyone!
Now for the introduction. My name is Igor Felix.
I'm from Brazil, and I'm quite a beginner at CI.
I have found it looking for good alternatives to the framework we use at work.
Or at least, some new ideas. And I think CI rocks! Very interesting framework!
Anyway, at work we do use Propel a lot, integrated with our framework.
And I have found this discussion over here quite interesting.
There is an interesting way of generating Propel's XML using Propel itself.
No need for extra tools. Just take a look at this topic:

http://propel.phpdb.org/trac/wiki/Users/...gDatabases

The framework we use here is quite new, and still beginning with new scaffolding ideas.
But I'm always in look for new things and good alternatives.
Even if I can't convince our group to use it, I want to try CI.

Well, that's it for now.
Hugs to all!! ;-P

I'm not experienced with Propel, but i tried Pear DB_DataObject that looks a bit easier to me.

This is an interesting tutorial: DB_DataObject

You can also download the example.

Just updated Propel tutorial wiki which was unfinished.

Any suggestion for improvement is welcome!
