Scaffolding not compatible with URI library?

Hi
Whenever I enable the URI-component, the scaffolding stops working. I know it's deprecated and all, but it should still work, right?

So, if I enable URI in autoload like this:
$autoload['libraries'] = array('database', 'session', 'URI');

instead of getting http://localhost:8888/kcms/index.php/sca...aff/edit/1 the edit link will take me to http://localhost:8888/kcms/edit/1 and the same goes for all the other links.

I started out with CI last week, so this might be user error. But if it's not, I recommend mentioning it in the documentation.

Anyone has a clue why this is happening?
