Few days ago, I found on phpandstuff.com codeigniter + doctrine tutorials. I am just curious. What other tools/frameworks, can be combined with codeigniter?

If you mean what other PHP classes can be combined with CI, than anything.

It's generally not good practice to mix frameworks. I know I would not want to.
