How to change the First loading controller?

Hey guys I want to ditch welcome message controller,
I was wondering how come index.php always opens that one first?

Is there a way to assign the root page to a certain controller?


PS: I have looked in a lot of files and searched google to no avail and Im still learning my way around the docs but haven't found exactly where this is yet.
