I am created a "Sun Calendar" Helper. this helper is using in persian websites.
You can using from this helper easily.

For Example:

$this->load->helper('suncal');
$today = jgmdate("l j F Y");
echo $today;

Download file attachment, unzip and copy it in application/helpers/Suncal_helper.php
