A view to handle it's own purpose

Hi, I am creating an application. This application has a menu which is dynamically generated from a database. I want this separate from the views which displays the rest of the page since it will be duplicate code for each view/page. How is this possible.

If this does not make sense, i'll try explaining again.

I have say 3 pages with the same menu that's dynamically generated from a database. The code to display the menu is written in 3 different views. I want it so it's on its own view.

If I was doing this in straight php, i'd have a menu.php and on all my pages I would include this file.

Any idea's?

Thanks

Sorry, I did do a search, spent about 30 minutes searching and couldn't find this. I do appreciate your reply. Thanks.
