After I enter in the URL
http://localhost:8080/ci_app a 500 error page appears. Currently the .htaccess file from
http://codeigniter.com/wiki/mod_rewrite is being used. Mod rewrite is already enabled. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing the level 500 error?

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^system.*
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?/$1 [L]
