$this->db->insert wont work with this code

Hello everyone.. I have looked at this code way to long and are starting to go blind on the code.. Need some input in way this does not work :d.. The insert into employee does work, but not empphones. I have checked everything and userexist does return true or false, but it seems like the code panics right before the insert of the phone array. No error code is given.
