I downloaded and installed CI_2.0 which replaced CI_1.72. My localhost joke site worked except for the database class. The error log reckoned it could not find the Model class?
As a KLUDGE I remmed out the database class, replaced with standard MYSQL functions and it worked fine.
All to do now is to add another define depending upon the version and "away we go"
