Hello all,
I'm in the process of transitioning from Rackspace Cloud to Media Temple, but I've run into a problem.
Everything worked perfectly on Rackspace, but on the new server I'm hitting a wall now.
I had setup my install to not use a database, but to require encryption for sessions. Unfortunately, this configuration does not work on Media Temple. I tried to play around with the settings and I found this:
The session and userdata will only be set if:
- Encryption is disabled
- Use Database is disabled.
If either of those options are set, the system continues without errors, but no cookie is set.
Are there any dependencies here that I'm missing? Mcrypt is running and even has the right cipher.
Ideas anyone?
