Integrating CI site with a CMS
#1

Hi all,

I've got a pretty large CI website that uses an API for most of its content and functionality. I need to integrate it into a CMS. I would like to use a non-ci CMS as i haven't found a CI CMS with enough functionality and support. So.... is it possible to integrate my CI site with a non CI CMS? and if so, does anyone have suggestions of a great CMS? I'm looking for something that can handle multiple front end languages.

Thanks all.

Sure it is. I use WordPress for my blog, and CI for the rest of the site.

As for the OP's dilemma, I have none. I haven't got any experience in CMS except WordPress.

I recommend you try out PyroCMS and IonizeCMS.

And please let me know what features you are lacking and we can see about adding them in.

Thanks,

I'm using ionizeCMS and it's great so far. Good language support, nice backend and pretty flexible. I am having trouble with modules though. I haven't even been able tot load the default modules on the frontend wrapped in the template.

Has anyone had experience with ionize modules?

Cheers.
