Chat app with CI

I've completed a couple big apps with CI and have to say that i really do like the framework.

But now i want to start a web chat app and am wondering if anyone here has attempted one in the past or if CI would be a good option for this project.

didn't tried it but would be interested, i use Xajax with CI, it would probably make your life easier too. A am really interested in this if you are willing to share code
