Anyone notice any issue with Google Analytics data when using CI Page Cache ?

We've been using $this->output->cache(n) site wide and I am not sure if its just coincidence, but our site's pages/visits have dropped by almost half and bounce rate doubled according to google analytics for the last 6 weeks since we enabled the CI cache site wide.

Anyone have any insights into this? What might I check to see if its the cache causing it, other then turning the cache of and wait a few more weeks to get data.

Hi,

The cache can't influence Google analytics, because google's js is static. It just sends a request to the analytics server. You might want to take a look at your log file, enable it or set you log_threshold higher (in your config), because there are some errors on your site that you are not aware of.
Good luck getting your bounce rate back to normal...
