Need Help with Calender Class

I need to use calendar to my new project. I went through CodeIgniter user guide but failed to configure calendar with the information in the user guide. I need example code of implementing calender with next & previous hyper links using both post and get method with $config['enable_query_strings'] = TRUE;

Please somebody help
