I read over the manual about the sessions class and understand setting up a database entry and such. It says that it validates the users session cookie against the database and wanted to know more about this.
I am sure that this question has come up before so if any one has any links to information I would appreciate it.
When does codeIgniter validate the data?
How is the data validated?
Is there a function that I can call to manually re validate the data before performing sensitive actions?
