Hey Guys,
I'm building my own custom forum at the min for an application and it's coming along nicely. Just one thing.. I want the user to be able to quote someone on the forum when replying exactly like in this forum when it produces the quote tags around the text.
How is this achieved? Are the tags stored in the database and then a regular expression is preformed to get the text between the two tags or something.
Just wondering what the best way to achieve this?
