combination of Ignited Code

Hi everyone

I just started with CodeIgniter a few days ago and I'm very comfortable with it. To reduce some development time I'm going to implement some projects of others such as an authentication library, perhaps a blogging system however I try not to overload everything with a bunch of features I don't want. I would also need a CMS.

So basically I could start everything from scratch and start off there but I want to combine couple stable libraries, projects.

From what I've read (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34698...ry-is-best - based on Jens Roland answer) Tank Auth is the way to go right now I'm not sure if it supports any roles or groups though.

I'm looking for something I can easily pick up and use it for the whole project (I wouldn't want to start over couple times).

Once I found an Auth library I would like to find a basic CMS/back-end (without much functionality), I would like to extend it myself in stead of having a bunch of features I def. don't use (what basic set up would recommend so I can easily use it together with the Tank Auth (or any other Auth system I end up picking)

If you got any suggestions please point them out.

Thanks in advance.

As a quick comment... If you're looking to develop a basic CMS, you'll need some sort of backend structure. You might want to glance at Backend Pro if you haven't already (http://www.kaydoo.co.uk/projects/backendpro). It may not work for everyone (due to design, feature set, whatever) but it might save you some time, especially if you want to build something quickly and then go back and refine later.

I haven't used it personally yet, so I really can't comment on the quality of the code, but it's worth a look.
