hi

basically im new to the concept of codeigniter and do not completely understand it wither as i was introduced to it by a friend who runs a social website! he also wanted to add opensocial apps (which im also new to) to his website.

my question here is that how do i do that? and i was reading about opensocial and it says that i need to implement something called shindig to my website! how do i do that as well!

would someone please clarify all this and guide me through this as its all jumbled up and i dunno where to start or what to do!
